The cost of generating solar power energy for residential use is generally very high. In order to bring down this cost, Citizenre has come up with a business plan. For this, the company aims to manufacture cheap roof top solar electric panels itself and install them on the various residential rooftops.
The consumers will have to pay the company for using the electricity produced by the solar panels. The excess power generated by the panels will be stored with the local electric utilities. For this, the company will employ the process of net metering. This power will then be used at night.
