My mom got two kitchen cookware sets for Christmas.
I bought my mom a new set of pots and pans for Christmas. She had been complaining about her current cookware. Her pots and pans had scratches on them, and their non-stick surfaces were no longer allowing her to cook without food sticking to the bottoms of the pans. My sister planned to buy my mom something else for Christmas, but when it was no longer available, she too decided to buy her a new set of cookware. My mom got two kitchen cookware sets for Christmas. I gave her the gift receipt so she would be able to return the set that I bought her. She decided she wanted to keep both sets. Each set had pots and pans of different sizes included in it. SHe said that she wanted all of the cookware so that she would have all of the sizes that she would ever need.
