Do You Really Have to Wear Chef Hats?
There are some traditional ideas that tend to circulate around chefs and one just happens to be the presence of the traditional chef hats. These shaped hats are something that has been around for years, and many people wonder if all chefs are required to actually wear them. The truth is that most chefs do not wear the hats. They are quite uncomfortable after a brief amount of time in the kitchen and make it rather difficult for the chef to concentrate of preparing dishes properly. Taking a bit of time to look in a few kitchens you will find very few chefs who are actually wearing the traditional chef hats, but rather keep their head bare during shifts.
